Britannia holds back product launches, expects demand revival in 9-12 months

Owing to a worrisome slowdown in economy and lower consumption levels, biscuit giant Britannia Industries has postponed product launches in order to eradicate the inefficiencies coming into the system. “We know that rural is growing much slower than urban. There is pain in rural.” managing director Varun Berry said.
